The artwork and stories of Lauren j. Patton hold her childhood love of magic, nature and animals. She received her BFA in illustration from Rhode Island School of Design and her MFA with a focus on writing and illustrating picture books from Goddard College. She now lives in the Mountains of Western North Carolina with her husband Matt and her two wiener dogs, Gavin and Milli.
